Groundwater hydrology and geochemistry within the tidal Anacostia River watershed of Washington, D.C. are related to natural and human influences. The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the District Department of Energy & Environment, began investigating the hydrogeology and groundwater quality of the watershed in 2002. Lithologic coring, groundwater-level and tidal monitoring, and water-quality sampling have been conducted to improve understanding of the groundwater-flow system, geochemistry, water quality, and the likely interaction between groundwater and the tidal Anacostia River. The flow and interaction of shallow groundwater with the tidal Anacostia River and other area streams are affected by diversions, pumping, land reclamation, and other human activities in this highly urbanized watershed.

The tidal Anacostia River watershed is underlain by a wedge of unconsolidated sediments that is part of the Atlantic Coastal Plain Physiographic Province. These sediments form a system of confined and unconfined aquifers. The coarse sediments of the Potomac Group sand-dominated lithofacies form the Patuxent aquifer. The Patuxent aquifer crops out and subcrops in the northwestern part of the study area, but is confined to the southeast by the overlying Potomac Group clay-dominated lithofacies. Overlying the Potomac Group is a series of interbedded sands and clays that form an unconfined surficial aquifer system. Regional correlation in the unconfined surficial aquifer system is complicated by local heterogeneity in aquifer sediments. Local perched and semi-confined conditions occur in some areas.

I have been using OpenCPN in the past and like the tidal current model used for my local sailing area (Newport, RI and Narragansett Bay) better than the model that Expedition uses. OpenCPN uses the XTide data in a folder labeled tcdata. The files in this OpenCPN folder are HARMONIC, HARMONIC.IDX and a README.harmonics file. The Expedition PDF help file states:XtidesExpedition can also use the GNU Xtide software distribution global tidal station database available at Download the harmonics.txt file (it may be zipped) and select it using the Xtide button. Be aware that the file contains a large number stations and physically reading it may slow Expedition, so you mayjust want to copy the stations you are interested into your own file. This option is provided merely for user convenience. While Expedition uses a significantly different technique of computing tides to Xtide, the results should be very similar.I have downloaded harmonics-dwf-20191229-free.tar.xz and extracted the files harmonics-dwf-20191229-free.tcd, ChangeLog and COPYING.I don't know what folder Expedition keeps the tidal current models and how I access the Xtide button referred to in the help file.Questions:1. Can I use the OpenCPN harmonincs files directly in Expedition? If so, how?2. If not, how do I import and use the downloaded XTide harmonics file?

The US model data are from a low resolution model. They work better in somewhat more open waters than your a looking at.The US East Coast Currents option will give you the NOAA tidal currents as you see in OpenCPN.Just delete the text ...

The major beauty of this music converter and downloader is that it is designed to provide convenience and instant results to its users. It allows downloading playlists, tracks, mixes, albums, etc from Tidal effortlessly and also allows you to convert Tidal playlists to MP3, AAC, FLAC, WAV, M4A, and Lossless.

You intend to cancel Spotify subscription, but still want the access to the offline contents you downloaded from Spotify client and enjoy the contents at 320 kbps high audio quality? Or you just want to backup your Spotify playlists in case of deleting them accidentally, or export the playlists to your devices like iPod, Walkman or USB drive for listening music without internet connection? But the limitations from streaming music service may frustrate you, for example, you are out of luck to obtain the MP3 audio from Spotify song, or copy the songs you downloaded from Spotify to MP3 player, USB drive or SD card, and you will lose the contents you downloaded after the cancelation of subscription.

When the customization is done, you can click on Convert button to start downloading song or playlist from Spotify to the plain audio format you chosen. After the conversion is done, you can click on the "Converted" button to find the well downloaded Spotify music.

After you download songs from Spotify with Sidify Music Converter, now you can export it to your portable devices for offline listening, or export it to other streaming music services like Apple Music, Google Play Music or Deezer.

The most recent version of the software is available for everyone without any registration and will be continuously updated on GitHub. Download or clone the VLBI and the COMMON repository and put them to the same directory. Your folder structure should look like this: ../VieVS/COMMON/ and ../VieVS/VLBI/. After download from GitHub the folders are probably named VLBI-develop and COMMON-master, take care to change the names to match the folder structure stated before!

Yearly files containing informations on mapping functions (VMF1 and VMF3) can be downloaded from the VMF Data Server. The files need to be store in the respective folder VLBI/TRP/VMF1/ or VLBI/TRP/VMF3/.

Barrier Island Sea Level Rise Inundation Assessment: The back bays of barrier islands to the bay side of beaches and dunes as well as other areas of the North Atlantic Coast including embayments and harbors are at risk of storm surge and tidal flooding via barrier island inlets. Long Beach Island, New Jersey was identified for the NACCS Barrier Island and Back Bay Example to present an illustrative example of how a beach and dune system would perform based on sea level change inundation scenarios as well as the impacts of coastal flooding from back bay areas. This example is not intended to evaluate the actual coastal storm risk and consequences. Click here to go to access the report.

Coastal Hazards System: The Coastal Hazards System (CHS) is a coastal storm hazard data storage and mining system. It stores comprehensive, high-fidelity, storm response computer modeling results including climatology, surge, total water levels, waves, and currents and corresponding measurements. Extremal statistics and epistemic uncertainties of the processes are also stored, and the data are easily accessed, mined, plotted, and downloaded through a user-friendly web interface. CHS regional data are comprehensive, uniformly spanning the coastal region and practical probability space. The CHS is available online at

An essential component of a living shoreline is constructing a rock structure (breakwater/sill) offshore and parallel to the shoreline to serve as protection from wave energy that would impact the wetland area and cause erosion and damage or removal of the tidal plants.

Mopidy-Tidal requires the Python-Tidal API (tidalapi) to function. This is usually installed automatically when installing Mopidy-Tidal.In some cases, Python-Tidal stops working due to Tidal changing their API keys.

After upgrading Python-Tidal/tidalapi, it will often be necessary to delete the existing json file and restart mopidy. The file is usually stored in /var/lib/mopidy/tidal/tidal-oauth.json, depending on your system configuration.

The preferred setting for this value is a trade-off between UI responsivenessand responsiveness to changes. If you perform a lot of playlist changes fromother clients and you want your playlists to be instantly updated on mopidy, then you may choose a low value for this setting, albeit this will result inlonger waits when you look up a playlist, since it will be fetched fromupstream most of the times. If instead you don't perform many playlistmodifications, then you may choose a value for this setting within the range ofhours - or days, or even leave it to zero so playlists will only be refreshedwhen mopidy restarts. This means that it will take longer for external changesto be reflected in the loaded playlists, but the UI will be more responsivewhen playlists are looked up. A value of zero makes the behaviour ofmopidy-tidal quite akin to the current behaviour of mopidy-spotify. 041b061a72
